在學(xué)習(xí)《大學(xué)英語》時(shí)，非英語專業(yè)學(xué)生都希望能盡快掌握《大學(xué)英語》（讀寫教程）的英語語言重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)�？紤]到我院學(xué)生英語學(xué)習(xí)的實(shí)際情況，筆者嘗試在此歸納出《大學(xué)英語》（讀寫教程）的英語語言重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)，以方便我院學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)大學(xué)英語。
依據(jù)我院非英語專業(yè)學(xué)生的大學(xué)英語教學(xué)以及我院學(xué)生的英語現(xiàn)狀，從《大學(xué)英語》讀寫教程的每個(gè)單元的角度看，大學(xué)英語中的重點(diǎn)具體如下所示：

非英語專業(yè)學(xué)生可以先將上表畫在紙上。之后，將每一冊的每個(gè)單元音的具體內(nèi)容填寫在表格的“具體內(nèi)容”處。可以參照下列的表格形式：

以sentence structure和translation為例，《新視野大學(xué)英語》（讀寫教程）（1-4冊）可以匯總出80個(gè)句型以及400個(gè)（漢譯英）翻譯關(guān)鍵詞或提示詞。
非英語專業(yè)學(xué)生參照表2，可以嘗試將《大學(xué)英語》（讀寫教程）（1-4冊）的所有重點(diǎn)寫在紙上（一般只需2張A4紙）。這不僅讓我們把書讀薄了，也讓我們便于隨時(shí)復(fù)習(xí)所學(xué)重點(diǎn)知識(shí)。
《大學(xué)英語》（讀寫教程）（1-4冊）的難點(diǎn)是，非英語專業(yè)學(xué)生如何將所學(xué)重點(diǎn)應(yīng)用在自己英語口語、英語寫作和英漢互譯中。這不僅是把書讀厚的過程，也是非英語專業(yè)學(xué)生展示自己English language performance的過程。
